Justice. Joy in Living.
Together for a better tomorrow.
A garden: a place of beauty, an oasis for healing, a space for reflection. This planet was created as a paradisiacal garden for all beings in a constantly changing balance. This Earth is a gift that we wish to maintain and preserve for ourselves and others, for our children and grandchildren, for the web of life to which we belong. In this collective garden, may we all find our place to heal, to grow and to develop our special gifts.
Tomorrow e.V. seeks to achieve healing and well-being for the Earth, society and our individual and collective spirit. We do it with deeds, festivity, aesthetics, community, humor and charity that includes all living things.
The foundational principles of Tomorrow e.V. are found in the Earth Charter and the Charter for Compassion.
Founded in 2018, Tomorrow e.V. organized an Interfaith Week for Nature Conservation in Cologne for two years straight, Sept. 2-9 and Sept. 8-15. We worked closely with religious actors from Baha'i, Brahma Kumaris, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Sikhism, Sufism and spirituality more broadly, nature conservationists, climate activists, politicians, and governmental workers from the local to the national level.
The Interfaith Week for Nature Conservation in Cologne offered thirteen events in 2018 (Sept. 2-9) and twenty-five in 2019 (Sept. 8-17).
Moreover, we began Bees for Peace, to create feeding sites for bees at religious communities and secular organizations.
On Sept. 13, 2019, the imams in over 900 mosque communities of Germany’s largest Muslim organization preached on Islam and nature conservation, reaching over 200,000 people. The worshippers at the central mosque in Cologne also planted bee-friendly flowers, inspired by Bees for Peace.
Currently, Tomorrow e.V. is in transition, as we seek to broaden our scope and relocate our home base to North America.
